1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bento, you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms are a binding agreement between you and Bento for use of our desktop app, web pages, and related services at aetherix.app.

If you are accepting these terms for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Bento Service

Bento provides a local-first workspace for AI-assisted workflows, collaboration, and structured knowledge operations. Features may include desktop sync, web-based account management, and tier-based limits.

• -Core workspace: personal and team spaces, object and note management, and encrypted transport where supported
• -Automation features: assistant actions, configurable tools, and workflow controls
• -Membership features: paid plans, billing controls, and access to expanded limits

3. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding account credentials.

• -Use a strong password and keep credentials confidential
• -Do not share account access with unauthorized third parties
• -Promptly notify support if you suspect unauthorized use
• -You are responsible for activity performed under your account

4. Plans, Billing, and Renewal

Bento may offer free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed according to the cycle you choose at purchase.

Payment and Renewal

Subscription charges are billed in advance and may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

Price Changes

If plan pricing changes, we provide reasonable advance notice through product notices, email, or the web billing interface.

Cancellation

You can cancel renewal at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless local law requires otherwise.

5. Your Content and Ownership

You keep ownership of your content. Bento does not claim ownership of notes, documents, workspace objects, or other user-provided content.

You grant Bento a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content as needed to operate the service and requested features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bento to:

• -Violate applicable laws or regulations
• -Infringe intellectual property rights
• -Distribute malware, abusive automation, or unauthorized scraping
• -Interfere with service operations or platform security
• -Attempt unauthorized access to other users' data

7. Third-Party Services

Bento may integrate third-party providers for infrastructure, payment processing, and optional AI features. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Availability and Changes

We work to provide reliable service, but Bento is provided on an "as available" basis. We may add, change, or retire features to improve reliability, security, and product quality.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, security abuse, or legal requirements. Where practical, we provide notice before permanent termination.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bento is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from service use, interruption, or third-party dependency failures.

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid Bento in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product and legal requirements evolve. Material updates include a revised effective date and notice through the app or website.
